I have tried the D2 with the V2 shaft and loved it and am tempted to buy one secondhand. Titleist is the first to admit that the D1 and D2 — two drivers with near identical launch conditions but different looks and different MOI characteristics — were perhaps not the best pair of drivers for fitting a wide range of golfers. This saves internal weight, provides a solid feel, and allows for more shaft options. I have the DComp and i love it! I was able to, and switched to D2 after playing an r7 and titleis FT-3, and the worked beautifully for me.

Is the length of the d3 any longer than the d2? The website shows 3 different weights, which I assume will impact launch conditions. All 3 models are excellent and in our view this is one of the best new drivers in the market this year, so get along to a Titleist supplier and try one out.
It will be a mixture of titanium and composite materials. Blake Billups 10 years ago. D2 will launch a bit higher and spin a bit more than D3.
909D-Comp Driver: How forgiving?
Thank you for all the time you put in these reviews, best to luck to you and your golf 9099dcomp Your review leaves me with a couple of questions however. If you got a chance to hit it, how did it perform in terms of feel, forgiveness, etc?
It also just sets up better to me. It was also interesting to find, in a good way, that for me the VooDoo stock shaft performed as well as the after-market shafts I 909dcop — including the prolaunch red and v2.
I play off of 2 and just like the small conventional head of the D3 and the way it can shape the ball. If you’re looking for real value for money from a driver that will last you years and will not depreciate, the Titleist D2 is the club for you if price isn’t the sole factor in club choice For months I suffered using other cheaper drivers, but once I mastered using this driver, my game is now truly set for mid to lower handicaps.
The D3 is also titanium with a smaller cc head for low launch and low spin, ideal for very low handicap players and the DComp is a composite titanium and carbon head for High launch and mid spin.

Sorry, your blog cannot share posts by email. On average, the other drivers I hit were ish rpm higher, even with similar lofts. I believe I answered your questions in the review.
The hitting area retains roughly the same look as that found on — white grooves with a trapezoidal, grooveless sweet 909dclmp. However it is in the performance of the club where the big changes have occurred as all 3 of the D models are much more alive than the previous models.
